Gamahea is the name of my imaginary band. There, I said it! I make music using AI found at Udio.com. I also work with Cakewalk, Ableton, and FL Studio.
I've made a ton of music over the last year or so, and it's about time I start releasing it!
To that end, I found a maze of stuff indie artists must go thru to ensure they get fully paid and get the greatest possible exposure to their potential audience.
So after a few months of online research, I came to the conclusion that I needed to form a record label.
Being with a label is really the best way for an artist to get their music out there and receive payment in the form of royalties. It also provides protection from nasty types who want to sue.
I'm now (finally) releasing more music as of 6/15/2025. I'm finishing up and releasing albums in short order. I will schedule the next release for 2 weeks, so it can get on playlists, and will release an album every 2 weeks until I have my entire back catalog released. All my albums will be priced at $1, with the option to pay more if you should choose to do so. I do write my own lyrics, so $1 for a whole album isn't a whole lot I'm asking for the effort.
For now, the only one signed to my label is myself, and that's likely how it will stay until I've managed to get the business to a successful place where I can have it all streamlined and running smoothly while also generating a profit. I won't sign anyone else to the label for now, until I can ensure it will be worth their time and mine. My music was always the experiment, to test the waters. Turns out, many people will reject AI music outright, never even giving it a chance. That's quite a sad fact to learn after digging $3000+ deep into a business. I will still make the best of it, though to be quite honest, I should have gotten a used car instead. I say that half-jokingly. I still have a feeling this label will go places, I have a gut feeling I cannot ignore. It just needs more music HERE available to listen, with purchase links easily accessible, and merch ready to go. I'm working on merch as soon as I get this back catalog dealt with.
