IT HAS BEGUN!

A few minor kinks to work out, and I can get back to fixing up more albums to release.

The label is official now, but before I sign any other artists on, I will test everything by releasing my own music.  This will allow me to fix any problems that may arise, and will give me the time I need to take care of various other business-related things. I'm giving myself all of January to get everything sorted and ready. 

I'm dropping my first album here on this site December 27th, and releasing via distributor at the same time. It takes 5 days for distribution to all the various platforms, and those platforms have to do their own thing with it before release, so you can expect it on Spotify and elsewhere about two weeks later.

Obviously, Christmas is a hectic time of year, and work at my day job is slow right now, so I will be looking at startup funding options, and already have some good leads in that direction.  Various setbacks and unexpected problems have arisen, but mostly they've been taken care of.  I still need to set up my business bank account, which will most likely have to wait until after Christmas.

For now, the donation button goes into my PayPal account, and anything I find there will go towards covering the various expenses I have left.  If I can manage to do so, I will release more than one album.

I have at least 15 albums to edit, master, arrange, upgrade cover art, and add metadata to. 

This takes an enormous amount of time, but I'm moving right along and it's going well so far.

Please continue to be patient with me as I get this site and the label all fancied up and ready.

I still have the business and marketing side of this website to also finish up so I can open a store section and actually begin selling albums, singles, and merch.  In the meantime, merch items are basically ready for production. I will also be working on a small graphic novel to explain my band lore (since it's kinda far out and hard to grasp).  To sum it all up:  I'm having fun with it, and things are going smoother than anticipated. I think I'll have multiple albums available and released by the end of January or early February.

My only stress factor right now is that a mixup with third party companies resulted in my business address being in the wrong state.  It's something I can easily correct, but the stress part is that I ended up with multiple virtual business addresses and I need to verify which one is correct and get the business address established properly with the IRS etc.  I'm just waiting on an email at this point.
